My internet persona, where I post about art, technology, education, whatever.
My virtual Moleskine, a dumping ground for work. A sketchbook, a gallery, a blackbox...
Traditionally the colophon comes from the book world. It describes the typesetting and printing methods used to produce the book who's Colophon you are looking at. This convention has spilled over into digital publishing, as a place to list tools and techniques used to create a given website. Give credit to others who's work you have built upon and provide any other nerdy information that the author feels he or she needs to inflict on the viewer. Mokturtle.net is now hosted on Bluehost. Previously it lived in my attic on The Pirate Brain: a Debian Linux server running on a Pentium Frankenputer with about 4 gigabytes of RAM and a JBOD of disk space. The Pirate Brain will soon be assimilating several older Macintosh computers running OsX Server and Linux into its collective overmind. Mokturtle.net is running WordPress, Dokuwiki and Pixelpost.
